Portrait of Rolando Fourcand

Rolando Fourcand

Executive Director

Rolando is a veteran, advocate, and dedicated ally to individuals with disabilities, neurodiverse individuals, and fellow veterans seeking meaningful employment, greater independence, and a stronger sense of purpose.

Since 2015, he has provided individualized vocational support, helping people navigate employment and life transitions with dignity, encouragement, and respect. Rolando understands the challenges many individuals face and believes in seeing each person as a whole individual, not simply a diagnosis, circumstance, or case.

At CareerAbled, Rolando works with individuals, families, and community partners to make the path to work clear, respectful, and built around each person’s strengths and goals. He is especially committed to helping veterans find steady footing after service.

Vocational Evaluator

A Vocational Evaluator helps each person discover what they do best. Through career assessments, skills inventories, and hands on exploration, the evaluator identifies strengths, interests, and work styles, then turns those findings into a clear career direction so job plans are built on real information rather than guesswork.

  • Career assessments that uncover strengths, interests, and skills
  • Clear written reports that guide each job plan
  • Hands on exploration of real work settings and tasks
  • Recommendations that connect abilities to career paths

Job Coach

A Job Coach provides hands on support once the job begins. Working side by side with the new employee and the employer, the coach helps a person learn their tasks, build routines, and feel confident on the job, then fades support as independence grows so success lasts long after the first weeks.

  • Side by side training during the first days and weeks on the job
  • Task breakdowns and routines that make each role learnable
  • A bridge between the employee, the employer, and coworkers
  • Support that fades as confidence and independence grow
